I had a little extended time off over the 4th of July....very nice. 
I had a stay-cation, and though I did not get everything done that I had planned on, I did manage to make out to the lake.
I snapped picture, after picture, hung out with the Seagulls, walked in the water with my "Pali" rubber sandal's.....( I love, love, love, this sandal, I wear them ALL the time).
I threw my blanket on the beach and got in some long awaited reading and some color for my skin.
These step's always fascinate me. You can sit on them, and look at nothing but water................It's also a great place to find some really pretty "sea glass".
