All I want for Christmas.....

All I want for Christmas this year, is some snow. Last year we only got a "smidge".... so sad. I found this cozy picture on the web last night and fell in love with it. So charming... I don't know where it was taken , but I have to say... I am just a little bit jealous! Christmas shopping in this town would be ideal.

Oh, woe is me.............

This is "Winter Warlock", in April....As it turns out "Winter" is not a viable tree. I was so disappointed when I arrived to snap the pic for April, and low and behold, no bud's-a-bloomin'. Rightfully so I guess, after all, he resides in a cemetery. Next year I will have to pick a different specimen for my slide show and start off fresh.

Snowball In April...............

Driving home from work.....I spy something spectacular just around the corner..........a snowball in April. Completely rounded and fluffy.

"Winter" in March

Just under the buzzer. I have been so busy lately, that I hadn't gotten around to posting
"Winter in March". Yes, it looks like Spring is finally here, and it is
really nice to see the green grass..........

"Winter", in February..........

This is "Winter" with a picture snapped in February....almost one month to the day from the last. Not much of a change, I must say. All the snow was gone a couple of weeks ago, only to return again last Friday.

"Winter"......is my name

This is my new "muse" when I came upon this tree, I couldn't believe the size and stature. I have decided to keep a photo log of the tree, hopefully taking a picture of it every month for one year to create a slideshow. I have a special place in my heart for tree's, just love them. So, I have named the tree "Winter", because it reminds me of Winter Warlock from the animated classic "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". "....please, call me Winter".
